Amy and I spent the weekend in New York City visiting some friends and family. It has been about ten years since I’ve visited the city and a quite a lot has changed since then. From the moment we landed at LaGuardia, the entire environment felt rushed and bustling. Even in a downpour, there were people absolutely everywhere, going who knows where. The trip was fun, and provided some valuable new perspectives on our minimalism journey.

20 Questions To Start Living More Intentionally
Intentional living is the conscious pursuit of living in alignment with our core values and beliefs. The Zig Zagger skateboard that a friend recommended to me a few weeks ago (even though I have no idea how to skateboard yet). Unfortunately, those are just the ones that came to mind and while I could go on, I’ll spare you the list. It seems that finding things to want still comes quite naturally to me.
I can usually justify things to myself, too.

“So, do you even have any furniture in your living room anymore?”
Yes – we have furniture because we truly enjoy not having to sitting on the floor all day. I am often asked similar questions from friends and strangers alike when I discuss minimalism with them.
When we talk about minimalism as an idea, many people have vastly different concepts about what it means and that’s perfectly fine.
