I made a single goal for 2015 and to be honest, it felt like a stretch. I had no idea how I would accomplish it or if it was even possible. In January I set out to travel somewhere at least once per month for the year and in December I completed the task. It was an incredibly rewarding adventure, but I’m looking for something more in 2016 – and you should too.

Three Places To Put Away The Smartphone
I would love to say that my smartphone use is completely under control, but that would be a bold-faced lie.
While I’m much more conscious of the times that I might get distracted, the temptation to look at my phone still persists. It’s just so darn easy to pick up my phone and mindlessly scroll through Twitter while I’m sitting at the kitchen table having a snack. That being said, it’s definitely not the ideal way to spend that time and could be significantly improved.

Hello, my name is Anthony and I have a problem. My father-in-law caught this majestic moment of me taking a sunset picture during our visit to Arizona last week. While I promise that I did not have my phone in front of my face for more than a short while to capture a few images, I do find it pretty funny. This could be a poster for Break the Twitch, couldn’t it? I couldn’t help but laugh when I got the email with this and a few other pictures in it. It certainly did get me questioning just how much time I do spend on my phone.

After a third successful run of minsgame, I’m left thinking about what’s next. One of the reasons the minimalist game seems to work so well is that it starts out with a ridiculously easy challenge and works up from there.
